  1. Genuine Fractals Demo Installation Instructions
  2.  
  3. Requires Windows 95 or Windows NT and Photoshop 3.0.5 or later.
  4.  
  5. Before you can install the Genuine Fractals Demo, you must have a copy of Photoshop installed on any 
  6. local hard drive.
  7.  
  8. To install the Genuine Fractals Demo, copy the Import and Export folders to the Plug-Ins folder that
  9. resides in the same folder as the Photoshop 5.0 application (Photoshp.exe). You can also install the
  10. Genuine Fractals Demo by dragging the files Fractal.8ba (the Import/Acquire module),  Fractal.8be
  11. (the Export module), and Fractal.hlp (the Help file) into any assigned plug-ins directory for
  12. Photoshop 4.0, 3.0, or Photo Deluxe.

  14. This CD also includes a directory called "Images", which contains the following sample images:

  16. a) warriors hi-res pro.fif - encoded with Genuine Fractals' Pro Graphics option from an original 2800 x 
  17. 1900-pixel RGB image that you can use to test resolution independence.  For example, you can scale the 
  18. Pro Graphics image up or down - from screen resolution to as big as your machine will allow, including 
  19. print resolutions of 100 MB or more - and output to any device.  Since you cannot encode your own high 
  20. resolution graphic with the Demo version, we have provided this image to demonstrate what you can do 
  21. with high resolution graphics.  Note that you can download additional high resolution graphics from the 
  22. Altamira Group web site at www.altamira-group.com.

  24. b) warriors lo-res.tif - an original 640x480-pixel RGB original.
